Since AP Biology is big on memorizing concepts and vocabulary, you should be able to memorize large amounts of information. However, on AP Biology exams, most questions test the application of your knowledge. Therefore, it is vital that you understand each concept so that you can answer the questions with confidence. In 2024, the AP Biology exam will be on May 16. The testing time will be 3 hours, and the schedule will be as following: 90-minute multiple-choice section (60 questions), 10-minute reading period, 80-minute free response section (6 questions). Good luck on your test!

All science courses are definetely considered as more challenging than other subjects; however, they are also very rewarding. If you are a high-schooler that plans to study STEM-related subjects in college, we think you should take AP Biology since it really helps to lay groundwork for all the challenging content you will face in the future. On the other hand, if your planned college major is not science-related, we think you can skip AP Biology if you are worried about your grades, as AP Biology tests are quite difficult. Nevertheless, no matter your major, it is important to pursue your interests and passion. If you are passionate about biology, you should definitely take this course!
